Overview
In his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE issued a law establishing the Abu Dhabi Transport Company, an affiliate of the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs.
ADT is dedicated to making transportation more accessible and efficient for people across the Emirate. By developing and managing a variety of urban and suburban transport options, including rail systems and innovative public transit solutions, ADT aims to enhance everyday mobility. In addition to expanding rail networks and offering vehicle and bus rental services, the company is committed to providing flexible, user-friendly transport options. Through these efforts, ADT supports Abu Dhabi’s vision for a connected and integrated transport system, while also investing in the growth of the local transport industry, and thus contributing to the Emirate’s overarching ambition to be one of the top 30 cities in the global traffic index by 2045.
